Health and safety has always been a top priority for this energy company, not only for those working in the field, but those behind the scenes. With some of their office personnel expressing discomfort at their office workstations, they made the decision to invest in their employees by requesting individual office ergonomics assessments.

This energy company called us, and we sent an ergonomics expert to their corporate office. We developed an online pre-assessment tool for the client, which includes a digital system that tracks an individual’s results over time. Additionally, each individual workstation was assessed for underlying causes of employee discomfort, which could include exposure to risk factors such as awkward postures, forceful exertions, repetitive motions, and unresponsive work station design. Although it doesn’t pose immediate danger, exposure to these risk factors can cause work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs).
