What’s included in your assessment

We customize the scope of work for your Phase II ESA based on the recognized environmental conditions (RECs) outlined in your Phase I ESA.

Taking this approach ensures that you are aware of the full extent of contamination and know the best way to mitigate your risk. 

Your Phase II can include:

  • Soil and groundwater sample collection, testing, and analysis
  • Geophysical locating for subsurface infrastructure
  • Soil boring performance or advancement
  • Well, drum, floor drain, catch basin, and/or underground storage tank (UST) sampling and monitoring

Consider limited Phase II ESAs 

In some cases, you can get all of the protection of a Phase II ESA without having to pay for extensive testing. During Limited Phase II ESAs, fewer samples are taken from fewer locations.

You may be eligable for this when:

  • Your Phase I ESA reveals the potential for very minor contamination 
  • You do not need to confirm the extent of RECs

In most cases, we provide a proposal and charge on a time and materials basis. However, in some instances, we provide per project billing.

Do you strive to make us self-sufficient so we rely on you less?

Yes, as much as is prudent, we aim to make our clients self-sufficient.
