About this Project
We’ve had the opportunity to serve an Upper Peninsula mine for a number of years, and this specific project pertained to a hazardous materials assessment and eventual asbestos abatement of an old plaster building.
Industrial hygiene and health & safety professionals stepped in to ensure the meticulous process was completed properly and within time and budget.
Since this project took place in a sensitive residential and city commons area, it needed to be handled with both the client and environment’s best interests taken into consideration.
Following the bidding process, we conducted a thorough hazardous materials assessment, after which the need for asbestos removal was clear. We oversaw the abatement to ensure that all the work was done in compliance with requirements.
