Correctional Facility Demolition
About this Project
A correctional facility evaluated some of their buildings and ultimately decided to demolish some structures that were deemed structurally unsafe. With any demolition process, a number of industrial hygiene issues can arise. To combat any unexpected surprises during demolition, we stepped in to provide services throughout the project.
In preparation for the demolition, a team of our industrial hygienists carefully conducted a hazardous materials assessment of each building. After that we prepared technical contracts. With the demo project fully in swing, we provided oversight and coordination of abatement, demolition, and site restoration.
Following the initial abatement, the owners used our services to aid with further demolition projects.
