Phase I ESA and Asbestos Surveys
About this Project
For this project, we were hired to conduct a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (Phase I ESA) and Asbestos Surveys for two commercial properties and one residential property.
Over the course of the project, we obtained and reviewed documentation, files, maps, and records to identify recognized environmental conditions associated with the properties. We also performed a site reconnaissance, conducted interviews, and developed the final Phase I ESA report.
Recognized environmental conditions were associated with historical use of one of the properties — a gasoline station had the potential to impact soil and groundwater on that property and adjacent properties. We recommended that the client complete a Phase II ESA to investigate the Recognized Environmental Conditions.
The asbestos survey results indicated two types of asbestos-containing exterior window caulk and asbestos-containing vinyl floor at the properties.
