Airport Runway Resurfacing Survey

During the summer of 2014, an Upper Peninsula airport completed a $3.5 million runway resurfacing project.

The runway, which had been repeatedly patched and fixed since the 70’s, spanned 7,200 feet. Complete milling and resurfacing was required to enhance safety and ensure smooth flight landings.

Our surveying team assisted the primary contractor by providing construction surveying, machine control, and quality control during the milling and repaving.
